Strength and conditioning is a huge factor in combat sports. Ramtown MMA team coaches have years of athletic training behind them, and currently coach national, international, and pro level athletes.  Yesterday’s training techniques don’t make it for today’s competition levels.  Cutting-edge ideas constantly challenge and affect our coaching philosophy and methods as we practice and study modern training methods from organizations such as  USA Weightlifting, the US Olympic Training Center and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Our coaches mix new information with tried and true methods, constantly evolving to develop power, quickness, endurance, and mental preparedness.  Fad workouts like the cosmetic resistance training promoted by the big gyms and workout centers today are not useful for a fighter.  Our strength and conditioning programs prepare our teams for fights.
Although FightFit Power is designed for MMA fight athletes, others join the FightFit Power program for completely different reasons.  In the past two years, we have trained a pro football player who now has a starting position in the NFL, a group of high school football players who led their team to a championship last year, along with rugby, soccer, and baseball players.  Any serious athlete who needs bursts of power along with toughness and stamina will benefit from FightFit Power. The program is presented in a way that is fun, yet propels athletes to their top potential.
